Commercial litigation

Introduction

Representing companies, partners and investors before the commercial courts, from the first assessment of a claim to the final judgment on appeal.

Commercial disputes are heard by the commercial courts under the Commercial Courts Law, which brought specialised judges, electronic filing and hearings, and firm procedural time limits. We act for claimants and defendants in disputes over contracts, supply and distribution, partnerships and companies, commercial paper and unpaid invoices.

Preparation decides most commercial cases. Since the Law of Evidence took effect in 2022, written and digital records, expert reports and witness evidence are weighed under codified rules, so we build the file early: the contract trail, the correspondence, the accounts and the expert questions the court will ask.

Not every dispute should end in a judgment. We give an early, candid view of the merits and the cost, use notice, negotiation and conciliation where they protect value, and take the case through the Court of Appeal and, where the grounds exist, to the Supreme Court.
