Internal investigations
Introduction
Finding out what happened when misconduct is suspected, in a way that protects the company, respects employees and stands up later.
Investigations start with a whistleblower report, an audit finding, a customer complaint or a regulator's question. The first decisions matter most: who leads the investigation, what is preserved, who is told, and whether anyone should be suspended.
We plan and run investigations under the company's governance: securing documents and data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law, working with forensic accountants and digital experts, interviewing employees fairly under the Labour Law, and keeping the work confidential.
Our report gives the board facts and options: disciplinary action, recovery of losses, reporting to the authorities where required or advisable, and changes to controls so it does not happen again.
