Asset recovery from economic and financial crime
Introduction
Tracing, freezing and recovering money and assets lost to fraud, embezzlement and other economic crime, in the Kingdom and abroad.
A conviction does not return the money. Recovery needs its own plan: tracing where the funds went, freezing them before they move again, and turning judgments into payment.
We use the tools of criminal and civil proceedings together: precautionary seizure through the Public Prosecution and the courts, claims for the private right, civil claims against those who received the funds, and enforcement under the new Enforcement Law, which strengthens asset disclosure and tracing.
Where assets have left the Kingdom, we work with lawyers in other jurisdictions, and through international cooperation channels, to trace and recover them.
