Liquidation and division of estates

Introduction

Dividing estates between heirs by agreement or through the courts, including estates referred to Infath for liquidation.

Where heirs agree, an estate can be divided by consent: each takes assets or proceeds matching their share, and titles and shares are transferred. Where they do not, the personal status courts decide the division, and they may refer the estate to the Entrustment and Liquidation Center (Infath) to sell assets and distribute the proceeds.

Large estates rarely divide neatly. Real estate, company shares and businesses cannot always be split, minors' shares need protection, and some heirs want to keep assets while others want cash. We build division proposals that respect the Sharia shares and the family's interests.

We represent heirs and executors in amicable division, before the courts and in Infath liquidations. The liquidations and estates we have handled cover assets of 10 billion.
