Contract reviews, templates and renegotiation
Introduction
Reviewing a company's contracts against current law, giving it templates it can use with confidence, and renegotiating terms when circumstances change.
Many companies still trade on contracts drafted before the Civil Transactions Law. Clauses on penalties, limitation of liability, termination and time limits may now be read differently, and the law allows a court to reduce an obligation that exceptional circumstances have made excessively burdensome.
We review contract portfolios to find where the risk sits, starting with the contracts that carry the most value. We then build templates, standard terms and negotiation guides in Arabic and English, so the business can contract quickly without coming back to lawyers for every deal.
When costs rise, demand falls or a project changes, we help clients renegotiate: we assess their position under the contract and the law, prepare the case for change, and document the result so it holds.
