Investment agreements and funding rounds
Introduction
Raising and investing capital in growing companies, from the first seed round to later growth investment.
The Kingdom's venture market has grown quickly, supported by government funds such as the Saudi Venture Capital Company and an active base of angel and institutional investors. The simplified joint stock company and the Companies Law's rules on share classes make it easier to give investors the rights they expect.
We act for founders and investors on term sheets, convertible instruments, share subscription and shareholder agreements, and the key terms that decide value over time: valuation, liquidation preference, anti-dilution, board rights, vesting and employee share plans.
For foreign investors we coordinate registration with the Ministry of Investment, and for each round we update the articles and the cap table, so every new right is properly reflected in the company's documents.
