Creditor claims and recovery
Introduction
Protecting and recovering what creditors are owed, inside bankruptcy proceedings and outside them.
When a debtor is in difficulty, creditors who act early and correctly recover more. Inside Bankruptcy Law proceedings that means filing claims on time, taking part in creditor meetings and votes, and objecting to plans or decisions that treat them unfairly.
Security makes the difference. We help creditors enforce pledges registered under the Commercial Pledge Law, real estate mortgages and guarantees, and review transactions the debtor made before the proceedings that may be open to challenge.
Outside insolvency, we recover debts through negotiation, payment plans and enforcement, using the asset disclosure and tracing tools of the new Enforcement Law.
